Lykins
Lykins is a culturally diverse neighborhood at the northeast corner of Kansas City, MO, USA. The area’s economic conditions were not well developed a while ago, but then locals planned to renovate the place. Now it is a pretty good place to love and still is developing every day.
The people in the neighborhood are amicable and helpful. You can comfortably walk down the road. There are also some parks where you can have a good time in the afternoon. You can go to Freeway Park or Lykins Square.
If you love ice cream, you can visit Frutopia Paleteria. For coffee, Eleos Coffee is the most popular in the neighborhood. You also can go to El Mercado Fresco, McDonald’s, or Super Torta.
If you are visiting the neighborhood for only a few days, you can stay at The Cottages or at TMC Resca. Besides, you can shop at Family Dollar. In short, Lykins is developing continuously and becoming one of the best neighborhoods in Kansas City.
Whittier Elementary School
If your children need to be admitted to a school, Whittier Elementary School can be an excellent option. Students from different cultures study here very comfortably. It is located inside the Lykins neighborhood and is addressed at 1012 Bales Ave, Kansas City, MO 64127, United States.
Besides academic curriculum, students also get help in art, music, physical education, library science, and technology. It helps to boost their development. Additionally, the school regularly arranges study tours to different places throughout the year. Nelson Art Gallery, Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center, and the Kansas City Zoo are some of the common places to go.

First, you need to get onto the Kaw Dr heading northeast and from it go onto the I-70 E. After driving for about 10 miles via I-70 E, take exit 421B from I-70 E onto the I-670 E. While on it, right after crossing the Kansas River, you’ll leave the Kansas state behind and enter the Missouri state.
Continue driving eastward and merge onto I-70 E again driving east. Take the 4A exit for Benton Blvd. Continue north until the end you reach Independence Ave. Turn right onto Independence Ave moving eastward. After about 200 ft, you will see Huda Food, 3239 Independence Ave, Kansas City, MO 64124, United States. On your right, the whole area is the Lykins neighborhood.
Continue driving east on Independence Ave. Approximately 0.1 miles on your right, you will see an Auto parts store, AutoZone Auto Parts. And then, within a minute, you will get to Salon De Eventos Martinez, Kansas City, MO 64124, United States.
Keep going east, and you will see a bus stop on your right. Take a right turn to get onto Monroe Ave. You are driving through the Lykins neighborhood and 427 feet ahead, on your right side is the Pay less for best, located at 604 Monroe Ave, Kansas City, MO 64124, United States. It is a departmental store.
Head south on Monroe Ave and after 0.2 miles turn right onto E 9th St. Then 449 feet ahead take a left onto Bales Ave. Drive for another 453 feet and turn right onto E 10th St. The Buddhist Phap Hoa Temple is on your left, 1001 Bales Ave, Kansas City, MO 64127, United States.
Keep driving west on E 10th St. After 390 feet, turn left and get onto Indiana Ave. After 226 feet, you can see Whittier Elementary School, 1012 Bales Ave, Kansas City, MO 64127, United States, on your left.
